Children’s Ministry and AWANA -
Our children meet on Sunday morning for Bible
Connection at 9:00 a.m., and on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m.
during the school year for AWANA. Awana blends Bible teaching,
Scripture memorization and tons of fun. We also have a graded
choir program for pre-k through 6th grade that meets during
AWANA on Wednesday nights.
Youth Ministry -
These junior high and high school students meet every Sunday
morning for Bible Connection at 9:00 a.m. They meet on
Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m., and for special events, activities, and
trips during the year.
Worship Team - The
worship team consist of the worship choir and other
instrumentalist used in our worship on Sunday mornings. We also
rehearse to present special worship programs throughout the year
with a cantata at Christmas and pageant at Easter. Please join
us as we meet weekly to prepare. Instrumentalist meet Wednesday
at 6:00 p.m. and the choir meet Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m..
Handbell Choir -
Our Handbell Choir at UHBC meets once during the week and
currently plays 2 octaves but with more ringers can easily
expand to 3 octaves. We rehearse weekly on Thursday evenings at
7:00 p.m. The choir occasionally travels around the Metro area
as Ambassadors for Christ and UHBC and plays during holiday
services.
Women’s Bible Study -
This study meets on Sunday evenings during the school year and
focus on studies meant to both challenge and strengthen your
daily life. Times and topics to be announced.
Precept Bible Study -
This study meets on Tuesday mornings at 9:15 a.m. during the
school year. These participants have discovered the joy of
studying the Bible Precept upon Precept as they grow and
fellowship with one another.
Media Center - The
church library provides many excellent opportunities for service
in the selection, ordering, preparation and circulation of
materials needed to enhance the Christian life of all church
members. We have books, videos, and dvd’s for all age group and
even kiddie corner for children.
Food Bank & Clothes Closet -
The Food Bank was created to provide help and
show compassion to families in need in our church and the
immediate vicinity. We consistently feed between 800 and 1,000
people a month. Volunteers are always needed and greatly
appreciated.
